The Comprehensive Plan is a long-term planning document updated every five years that combines the analysis of existing conditions and extensive public engagement to create a vision for Smyrna’s next 20 years. This provides the City an opportunity to build on established and potential activity nodes, major corridors, and future redevelopment areas to create walkable centers, neighborhood-serving retail, and a high quality of life for residents. At its core, the Comprehensive Plan is driven by community input; it reflects the collective voice of residents, employers, social and religious organizations to create a unified vision for Smyrna’s future.
